We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Technical Copywriter to join our Communications team. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering technical content that aligns with our innovation in renewable energy technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical writing background and the ability to translate complex topics from our Technology team into engaging and understandable content for a range of audiences. This is a fully remote position.

🫡 Your main responsibilities include - but are not limited to! - the following:

• Collaborate with the Technology team to develop clear, accurate, and compelling technical content, including articles, white papers, and blog posts.
• Create and manage content for various platforms, such as websites, social media, and newsletters, focusing on green hydrogen and CWP Global’s projects.
• Support the Communications Director in developing presentations, including PowerPoint decks for internal and external stakeholders.
• Write, edit, and proofread technical materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with CWP Global's tone and brand voice.
• Assist in creating scripts for technical videos and other visual storytelling formats.
• Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Communications, Technology, and Business Development, to ensure cohesive messaging.

🫵🏼 Who you are:

• Proven experience in technical writing, not necessarily within the renewable energy, technology, or engineering sectors, but this is a plus.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong experience in creating engaging PowerPoint presentations. 
• Ability to distil complex technical information into content that is clear, accessible, and engaging.
• Experience writing for diverse formats including blog posts, white papers, articles, and video scripts.
• Self-motivated, with strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field preferred.
• Advanced or native English speaker.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, especially hydrogen and wind energy, is a strong plus.
