Overview

At Mixbook, we’re on a mission to empower creativity and deepen human connection. The Lifecycle/Email Copywriter role at Mixbook is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team working together to build a successful consumer tech business with a meaningful mission. We’re seeking a creative that uses conceptual, high-level thinking to craft compelling and well-written work that expands across all marketing channels. You’ll create copy for lifecycle and promotional campaigns across email, SMS, and push that engage and convert consumers to Mixbook customers.  Your writing style is a bit cheeky and bold, encouraging but not overbearing, and warm but not overly sentimental.

Although Mixbook is fully remote we would prefer this person to be able to work on PST.

What you’ll do

You’ll evolve our unique brand voice, crafting copy to communicate our brand and product benefits, helping to differentiate the Mixbook brand and delight customers throughout their journey. You will report to the Senior Copywriter and work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams, bringing the brand tone and voice into the customer journey from shopping to creation.

Responsibilities
  • Write clear, compelling, and conversion-focused email copy that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and execute campaigns that drive customer engagement and achieve measurable results across promo emails, lifecycle campaigns, sms, notifications.
  • Collaborate with email marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging across the customer journey.
  • Apply knowledge of channel-specific best practices to increase customer activation and conversion 
  • Partner with designers and art directors throughout the creative development process to ensure seamless integration of verbal and visual communication, with attention to brief requirements and objectives
  • Use insights and analytics to understand current performance and future opportunities
  • Ensure quality, clarity, and consistency in writing and overall craft across all channels and assets
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of copywriting experience within an agency or in-house creative team (bonus if it includes e-commerce or CPG brands)
  • Ability to maintain a structured workflow and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, with ability to adapt the content, style, and length appropriately for relevancy and impact
  • Willingness to do your own research and ability to quickly grasp, and bring to life the brand voice
  • Organized, efficient and agile – able to meet deadlines with ease while working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • A creative aptitude, appreciation, and strong grasp of the Mixbook brand
  • Experience with Figma and Asana a huge plus
  • MUST include your portfolio in your application to be considered
