Job description

Job Description:
As the Marketing Manager for Communications, Media, and KOL Relations, you will be responsible for developing and executing the social media and community marketing strategies for thatgamecompany's (TGC) game brands in China. You will establish and maintain relationships with media outlets and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to enhance the visibility and influence of TGC's brand in China. You will manage various media channels, plan and execute creative and impactful communications campaigns, and ensure that the brand's voice is widely heard within the player community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media, community marketing, and content promotion strategies for TGC game brands in China.

  • Manage and expand relationships with domestic social media platforms, media outlets, and KOLs to ensure brand exposure and engagement across major platforms.

  • Plan and execute creative communications campaigns to enhance TGC's brand visibility and user engagement in China.

  • Analyze campaign effectiveness data, adjusting marketing strategies to improve the impact and efficiency of communications efforts.

  • Coordinate with the global marketing team to ensure localized content aligns with global brand strategies.

  • Develop media relations strategies, organizing press conferences, interviews, and other media events to enhance the brand's presence in mainstream media.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in communications, social media marketing, or related fields, with a preference for candidates with gaming industry experience.

  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and community management in China, with a track record of successful social media campaigns.

  • Deep understanding and passion for TGC game brands.

  • Fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent copywriting and cross-cultural communication skills to work seamlessly with global teams and local media.

  • Strong team collaboration and independent working abilities, with the capacity to respond quickly to challenges in a dynamic environment.

  • Creative thinking with the ability to continually propose new communication and promotional methods.
