We are looking for a Growth Executive to join us at Komodo Claims, Inc, powered by INSHUR! This role is remote and we have hubs in New York City  🗽, Westlake, CA ⛰️ and Dallas, TX ⭐, should you want to drop in and spend time with other team members.

You’ll be working on re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across multiple territories including the UK 🇬🇧, US 🇺🇸, and the Netherlands 🇳🇱, with plans to expand into new European countries.

Supported by the Head of Sales at INSHUR and Reporting to the President of Komodo Claims, you'll be joining a friendly team of 50 who believe in delivering great customer service at scale.

We value high performance and care deeply about making INSHUR a place where everyone is building something special, that we can all be proud of, while enjoying the ride.

What you'll do

As our Growth Executive, you will be instrumental in shaping Komodo’s sales strategy in the United States. Your role will involve identifying new third-party claims administration opportunities, crafting compelling bids, responding to RFIs and RFPs, securing new programs, expanding existing ones, closing deals, and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients and partners.

Compensation:  $85,000 to $100,000 + bonus(more information on benefits further below)

Some of the things you’ll be doing;

  • Developing Growth Strategies: Collaborate with the Komodo Claims leadership team to create and execute strategies that elevate the Komodo brand and expand product offerings.
  • Managing the Sales Cycle: Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth and successful journey.
  • Securing and Expanding Programs: Acquire new TPA programs while also focusing on the growth and expansion of existing ones.
  • Representing Komodo at Industry Events: Attend industry conferences as a sponsor or presenter, positioning Komodo as a thought leader.
  • Building Strategic Relationships: Forge and maintain strong connections with fleets, insurance companies, reinsurers, and MGAs.
  • Identifying Cross-Selling Opportunities: Look for synergies between our brands INSHUR, ABI, and Komodo Claims (UK) to maximize business potential.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with both internal teams and external partners to effectively promote the Komodo brand.
  • Traveling as Needed: While this role is primarily remote, up to 20% domestic travel may be required to meet business needs.

🎯 We don’t have a definite checklist of skills – our hiring process is much more about aptitude and passion than ticking boxes. So don’t worry if you haven’t used a particular tool or checked off all the listed skills and experience.

  • Exceptional Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to clearly articulate ideas and strategies to diverse stakeholders.

  • Are an Experienced Business Developer: You excel in consultative sales, driving results with a customer-centric approach.
  • Are a Self-Starter: Highly motivated and results-oriented, you take initiative and drive projects forward.
  • Know Your Way Around CRM Tools: Familiarity with platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot is second nature to you.

🔧 Are solutions-focused and driven to overcome challenges.
