Description

The Sr. Learning Specialist will oversee the design and delivery of adult learning and change management activities. This role includes curriculum design, instructional or facilitative leadership for interactive e-learning and in-person, experiential group discussions, meetings, trainings, and workshops. The Sr. Learning Specialist will provide quality control for curriculum, instruction, and facilitative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the design and delivery of adult learning and change management activities.
Lead curriculum design and development.
POC with client and project stakeholders.
Provide instructional or facilitative leadership for interactive, experiential group discussions, meetings, trainings, and workshops.
Supervise and collaborate with consultants and subcontractor personnel.
Ensure quality control for curriculum, instruction, and facilitative activities.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
10 years of experience in developing learning strategies, instructional design and development, and delivery of classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or technology-based or aided training.
Strong knowledge of principles of learning and effective pedagogy.
Excellent facilitation skills for small and large group work sessions in real, virtual, and technology-mediated environments.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with project stakeholders.
Experience with e-learning, face-to-face, and classroom training.
Proficiency with the ADDIE Model or other ISD models.
Experience supporting US federal agencies such as DHS, DOD, DOL, USDA, CMS, CDC, HHS, or DOE.
Professional certification in Instructional Design, Digital Learning, E-Learning, or a similar field preferred.
US Citizenship required

Security Clearance: Currently holds, or is able to obtain and maintain, DHS fitness determination.
