Description

The Sr. Learning Specialist will oversee the design and delivery of adult learning and change management activities. This role includes curriculum design, instructional or facilitative leadership for interactive e-learning and in-person, experiential group discussions, meetings, trainings, and workshops. The Sr. Learning Specialist will provide quality control for curriculum, instruction, and facilitative activities.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee the design and delivery of adult learning and change management activities.
  • Lead curriculum design and development.
  • POC with client and project stakeholders.
  • Provide instructional or facilitative leadership for interactive, experiential group discussions, meetings, trainings, and workshops.
  • Supervise and collaborate with consultants and subcontractor personnel.
  • Ensure quality control for curriculum, instruction, and facilitative activities.
Qualifications: 
  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in developing learning strategies, instructional design and development, and delivery of classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or technology-based or aided training.
  • Strong knowledge of principles of learning and effective pedagogy.
  • Excellent facilitation skills for small and large group work sessions in real, virtual, and technology-mediated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Experience with e-learning, face-to-face, and classroom training.
  • Proficiency with the ADDIE Model or other ISD models.
  • Experience supporting US federal agencies such as DHS, DOD, DOL, USDA, CMS, CDC, HHS, or DOE.
  • Professional certification in Instructional Design, Digital Learning, E-Learning, or a similar field preferred.
  • US Citizenship required
Security Clearance: Currently holds, or is able to obtain and maintain, DHS fitness determination.
