Job description

The Summers Agency is looking for a highly driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. This is a full or part time, work from home position. This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers to sell our product and/or services.

The ideal candidate is results-driven, hungry for customer acquisition, and passionate about contributing to the nations leading Insurance Marketing Organization (IMO). This is a 1099, commission based position.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell life & health insurance products - Strategically present functionality and key value propositions to prospective customers.
  • Develop and foster relationships - Maintain close communications with clients to close sales and promote customer retention.
  • Aim for self growth - Help achieve monthly and quarterly individual and team goals. (there is no minimum quota, this is mainly just self oriented goals!)
  • Track progress and results - Record prospect interactions and track goal attainment.
  • Research and understand target market - Stay up to date of industry trends, best practices, and overall market opportunity.
     
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a life & health insurance license (we will help with this process if needed)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Self motivated
  • Prior sales experience is a plus but not required, we will train the right person!
