About the Role:

Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategic Accounts, the Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM) – Southeast, with a specific focus on Florida, will represent Blue Earth Diagnostics Inc. (BED) and Axumin. The SAM has an essential role in developing and delivering strategic solutions to external and internal customers while supporting the development of market partnerships, internal strategic development, and field support.  The SAM is a customer facing BED employee with KOL and C-suite personnel across specific medical specialties and geographies.  The SAM will develop and maintain long-term, peer-to-peer relationships with these critical stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other health care professionals specializing in the treatment of prostate cancer in key institutions in the US. The SAM will address the identified needs of key stakeholders by providing relevant and compliant data and developed process, to ensure appropriate on-label utilization through enhanced patient access to BED products. Additionally, the SAM will serve as the strategic conduit to industry partners, group leaders and internal BED personnel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a Strategic Plan:
    1. Be knowledgeable of the brand, the company and market
    2. Maintain thorough knowledge of technical/product data, disease state, clinical information, and product data within the diagnostic arena.
    3. Grow and develop new and relevant relationships in the field of prostate cancer.
    4. Apply knowledge and understanding of our products, programs, and services to meet customer needs.
    5. Continuously learn relevant information regarding each channel of business and share critical information with team members and directors.
    6. Effectively communicate and make in-roads with practice and corporate c-suites and key physicians.
    7. Assist the team in establishing a regional data reporting process.
    8. Partner with other departments (i.e. Medical, Field and Reimbursement) to establish educational speaker events, congresses, and appropriate field interaction.
    9. Acquires knowledge of current healthcare environment and its impact on BED business
    10. Build long term relationships with key accounts through honest and ethical behavior consistent with the company values.
    11. Maintains basic heath economic data relative to BEDs
    12. Develop processes that enable greater patient identification, and access to Axumin
    13. Identify, through field intelligence and relationships, potential industry partners that share Blue Earth’s mission to achieve appropriate care for the appropriate patient
    14. Develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans specific
    15. to external, industry partnerships
  • Drive strategic exchange, internally and externally, and execute strategic Initiatives:
    1. Provide guidance on established process ensuring customers can properly, and effectively utilize BED products.
    2. Develop strategies and tactics to effectively communicate complex analytical information.
    3. Consistently collects critical competitive intelligence/clinical insights through one-on-ones, group discussions and attendance at meetings and determines the impact on BED strategy and communicates this information to internal stakeholders
    4. Identify opportunities to partner beyond our established relationships
    5. Support company initiatives, such as physician round table discussions, patient navigator summits and advanced cancer clinic development programs.
  •  Supports Operations/Policy and Internal Partners:
    1. Provide technical support and training to field commercial and account teams.
    2. To maintain working knowledge of the company’s products, providing guidance and information on products and their use through enhanced process development.
    3. To research and provide full answers to technical enquiries, liaising with internal experts as required.
    4. Work with cross-functional teams as agreed upon with your manager to support brand objectives
    5. Communicate regularly with the cross-functional (sales, marketing, reimbursement, medical) teams you support.
    6. Adhere to and manage travel and local expenses to meet BED policy while being compliant with all company policy.
    7. Develop and effectively manage a call plan, call reporting process, and proper use of CRM
    8. Effectively manages administrative activities
  • Other duties as determined by business needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or completion of a certificate program
  • At least 5 years of industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA requirements and PhRMA Code
  • Ability to integrate and work in cross functional network
  • Demonstrated project management ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (approx.10-12 overnights per month)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.  Ability to influence and build relationships/earn credibility quickly across broad global constituencies with competing priorities.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and organizational skills; team player. Experience and skills with cross-functional and highly matrixed organizations.
