Your missions

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Loan Officer to assist clients in navigating the process of securing residential mortgage loans. This role involves providing expert advice and analysis to both current and prospective clients, ensuring their home lending solutions align with their financial goals. You will also help expand our client base through referrals and relationship-building, all while aiming to meet or exceed sales targets and maintaining high standards of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Client Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships to generate new client loan originations, including creating internal and external referral networks.
  • Manage Mortgage Transactions: Originate and process 1-4 family residential real estate mortgage transactions, ensuring adherence to lending guidelines.
  • Client Support: Serve as the primary contact for clients during the loan process, ensuring a smooth experience and high satisfaction levels.
  • Expertise Development: Stay informed about our products, services, and competitor offerings to provide expert advice.
  • System Proficiency: Maintain proficiency in sales and originator systems to ensure efficient workflows and adapt to industry trends.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed, with a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities.

Education And Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Experience: 1-3 years of mortgage sales experience required; mortgage processing experience and knowledge of relevant laws preferred.

Skills And Abilities

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Service: Strong capabilities in customer service with skills in outbound calls and multitasking.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Ability to understand the impact of emotional intelligence on business outcomes.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business priorities and profitability drivers relevant to clients.
  • Oral & Written Communication: Skilled in active listening and clear communication to effectively address needs.

Physical Demands

Office environment with prolonged sitting, frequent PC/laptop use, occasional lifting of items up to 10 lbs, and ability to communicate effectively in person or over the phone.

Compensation And Benefits
