Under supervisory direction, the Commercial Loan Specialist performs various administrative, data entry, document review, and loan processing support functions for one or more programs within Energy Finance Solutions. The primary focus for this role will be Small and Midsize Commercial Loan Offerings.

Primary and Essential Responsibilities
  1. Review documentation to confirm loan product requirements and program eligibility; prepare files for expedited internal review and processing

  2. Maintain customer/contractor email correspondence and provide call center support as needed; respond to customer and contractor program questions; advise customer and contractor of eligibility to participate in program(s); serve as a knowledgeable resource for general program inquiries

  3. Report to the manager regularly on progress and highlight any issues on a timely basis

  4. Own the resolution processes and facilitate effective product delivery

  5. Provide documentation of decisions and ongoing processing status updates as necessary

  6. Prepare and issue loan documents per instructions to approved applicants and/or their contractors

  7. Prepare files for payment; assist with pre-funding screening to verify completeness; communicate as necessary to obtain missing items, prepare ACH form and/or check for funding

  8. Actively participate as a member of assigned workgroups

  9. These responsibilities are not all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of work-related experience, preferably in customer service
  • Preferred experience with Commercial loan processing and credit analysis
  • Experience reviewing Business Information and other types of documentation for Commercial Loans
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce
