Position Overview

As an Inside Mortgage Sales Consultant, you’ll be an integral part of our sales team, focusing on retaining and expanding our servicing portfolio. You will manage inbound and outbound leads, understand client needs, and drive loan volume with the support of our leadership team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Management: Originate mortgage loans from inbound leads and current portfolios.
  • Application Handling: Process loan applications through automated underwriting systems after analyzing client financials.
  • Document Management: Collect all necessary documents for processing, underwriting, and closing promptly.
  • Customer Interaction: Conduct outbound calls and follow up on existing accounts, as well as assist with customer inquiries.
  • Client Interviews: Gather applicant information to determine the best product, terms, and pricing.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed department and individual sales/production goals.
  • Process Adherence: Maintain CRM records and follow checklists to ensure smooth processing.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of phone sales experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Licensing: NMLS License required.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication abilities and excellent time management.
  • Organizational Ability: Strong skills to manage complex financial data.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Professional and effective interaction with clients and team members.
