Job Description
The Information Technology Compliance (ITC) Technician is responsible for ensuring the analysis and assessment of general IT controls. The Technician leads activities supporting control procedures, compliance with policies and standards, and development of any technology solutions supporting adherence to data protection governance. Responsibilities include leading testing efforts for compliance, researching and evaluating emerging trends and threats, and coordinating communications between business and technology areas.• Lead efforts in developing and implements systems and business control procedures and plans for key areas of the company
• Lead programs to assess, prevent and mitigate risk
• Lead the analysis effort to isolate, describe and resolve both real and potential threats that affect Allstate's assets
• Manage the review of changes in company processes, standards and technology to ensure the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies
• Lead a team to research and evaluate emerging trends, threats and technologies
• Lead effort to develop, implement, document and administer standards and procedures to secure and protect Allstate assets
• Lead efforts to plan and monitor systems and business exercising and testing for controls and compliance. Exercise and test the control procedures and strategies for different functional areas
• Lead efforts to develop and implement control procedures, and programs for system and business processes
• Lead or conduct initiatives to ensure that controls and processes are operating effectively
• Lead the effort to conduct risk analysis and/or risk assessments both inside and outside the company and provide recommendations and/or mitigation strategies to management
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
• 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
• This job does not have supervisory duties.
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
