As part of this dynamic team, you’ll contribute to maintaining the studio’s modern, energetic atmosphere through compelling digital content.

Job Description

As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital presence, crafting engaging content that captures the essence of our lively studio environment. You’ll manage multiple social media platforms, create eye-catching graphics, edit videos, and develop email marketing campaigns. This role offers a unique blend of creativity and strategy, allowing you to showcase our diverse class offerings and event spaces while connecting with fitness enthusiasts and dance lovers. Your work will directly impact our online engagement, helping to grow our community and attract new clients to our exciting world of dance and fitness.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage engaging social media content across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Edit and compile video footage from events and classes into attractive reels and short-form content
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and implement them in the studio’s online strategy
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns for different audience segments
  • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and follower growth
  • Collaborate with the studio team to align social media content with upcoming events and promotions
  • Assist with the company's email marketing campaigns to create brand awareness and generate leads

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the fitness or dance industry
  • Proficiency in video editing and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign management 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Creativity and an eye for visually appealing content

Scope:

  • Part-time role, 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, flexible between 11AM - 7PM Houston TX
  • Content is expected to be uploaded every evening
