Our Grid Software team plays a vital role in accelerating the energy transition, ensuring reliable and affordable energy in a world characterized by decentralization, decarbonization, digitalization, and electrification. More than 70% of the world's electricity flows through infrastructure that we have planned or analyzed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform transmission planning using power system planning principles to simulate and analyze the grid’s steady-state and dynamic behavior.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing analyses, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with small project teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Develop automation scripts to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of simulations.
- Support proposal development by creating project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Provide technical consulting and on-site training services for clients.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power and Energy Systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electric power industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of transmission system planning or operations, with experience in analyzing power flow and dynamic stability using software tools like PSSE, TARA, or TSAT.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Power System Consulting.
- Prior transmission system planning or operational experience, especially in the MISO or SPP regions.
- A Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power and Energy Systems.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is \(81,130 to \)169,680, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Additionally, this role includes an annual incentive target as part of the compensation package.
