Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Analyst for a Corporate Financial Analysis position based in Princeton, NJ. This opportunity begins as a consulting role with the potential for a permanent position. You will play a key role in analyzing, reporting, and consolidating financial and operational data with significant visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly/Quarterly Reporting: Construct and distribute comprehensive reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Revenue and Forecast Consolidation: Consolidate revenue estimates, forecasts, and divisional P&Ls during the forecasting period.
  • P&L Commentary: Prepare insightful P&L flash commentary to support decision-making.
  • Executive Presentations: Create polished presentations for executive review, including board decks, P&L reviews, earnings presentations, and more.
  • Data Integrity Maintenance: Ensure data mapping integrity across franchise channels, new product launches, and organic vs. acquisition enterprises.
  • Analytical Support: Develop revenue and P&L analytics to support both actual and forecasting activities.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate reports as needed to address specific business questions or challenges.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in financial or accounting roles.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows).
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills, especially with advanced features and formulas.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with multi-dimensional databases/systems such as Oracle/R12, Cognos, OneStream, and Power BI.
  • Executive Function: High level of executive function and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Analytical Mindset: A deep interest in conducting detailed analysis to understand complex business drivers.
