Your missions

Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Area Manager and Patient Care Coordinator to provide exceptional sales support to key accounts, direct patient education, and establish customized documentation processes to manage our current and new patient population. Our comprehensive training program welcomes applicants with little to no experience, setting you up for success in the healthcare profession. Successful candidates have diverse backgrounds, including degrees in dietetics, nutrition, human resources, sales and marketing, and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage pending patients through the documentation and authorization process, reporting results to supervisors as needed.
  • Oversee monthly/quarterly budgetary guidelines to ensure overall territory profitability, including fuel, marketing, travel, and meals.
  • Achieve outlined monthly sales revenue targets.
  • Review, research, and prioritize pending orders to optimize time usage and ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Understand and respond to the territory’s needs and overall patient care. Manage other team members and triage situations as applicable.
  • Serve as a concierge to key accounts, representing our organization in key communications.
  • Create weekly routes with recurring calls to complete all required physician calls.
  • Organize and complete expected face-to-face calls and telephone contacts within the outlined territory. Deliver patient protected health information, sales messages, and marketing material as specified.
  • Participate in educational meetings and events as directed. Act as a patient ombudsman to facilitate timely service and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Manage current patient census, communicate clinical updates as necessary with appropriate staff.
  • Identify new business opportunities within call points and key accounts.
  • Maintain an on-call schedule with team members for after-hour calls, same-day emergency deliveries, or patient home visits as needed.

  • Create and maintain weekly schedules and complete face-to-face appointments daily.
  • Manage patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Possess knowledge and ability to educate on all service lines offered.
  • Manage inventory within the territory warehouse to maintain adequate supplies.
  • Follow PPE guidelines and manage pending CMN reports.

Work Environment

  • Field, Office, or Home Office.

Physical Demands

  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Rotating on-call schedule as determined by the supervisor.

Travel

  • Remote travel within the territory.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual is preferred.
