The
Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis – who supports the Senior Leadership of Accruent. The position requires an individual who is well-versed in the use of financial analysis tools and techniques and has a strong general knowledge about business. The principal objective of the position is to help drive financial and performance reporting for all revenue streams and help the professional services leadership manage costs for their operation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders (CFO, CSO, GCO, CPTO) to provide financial reports and analysis on the performance of Annual Recurring Revenue, License Revenue and Professional Services Revenue.
- Maintain ownership of working models for forecasting revenue streams and professional services costs.
- Provide financial analysis to ensure that the senior team has the information and understanding needed about the business to make effective decisions.
- Support leadership development of business models for evaluating returns on investment opportunities and building out long term strategic plans.
- Conduct financial reviews of the company’s monthly performance for the senior management team, CFO, and others as needed.
- Provide financial analysis, variance analysis, and budgeting support throughout the company.
- Deploy new technology (such as AI/ML and ChatGPT) to streamline and accelerate reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting or a related area.
- 2-3 years of financial analysis, reporting and planning experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Expert at Excel
- Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented and good organizational skills
- Great problem solving and analytical skills
- Accounting and/or forecasting and planning software experience
- General knowledge of accounting standards and reporting
- Ability to manage time well and multi-task
- Ability to work independently and cohesively with others
- Ability to meet internal and external deadlines
- Preferred: Experience with forecasting tools, consolidation systems and ERP’s, specifically OneStream, NetSuite, Salesforce.
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of recurring revenue metrics, such as ARR, NDR, Churn
- Able to travel up to 15% of the year

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 54,100.00 - 100,500.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
