DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the automation of application deployment and update strategies.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, or other platforms as needed.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage them with tools such as Portainer.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible and other configuration management tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database systems, including MSSQL and MySQL, with flexibility for other database technologies.
• Manage and maintain both Windows Servers and Ubuntu systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across all systems and applications.
• Provide technical guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in cloud services and infrastructure management, primarily AWS, but also including other platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
• Extensive experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Portainer or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in using configuration management and automation tools, primarily Ansible, but also including others like Chef or Puppet.
• Solid understanding of database management systems, including MSSQL and MySQL, with knowledge of other databases being beneficial.
• Proficient knowledge about PKI, PKI Services, and PKI Concepts
• Experience managing Windows Servers and Ubuntu systems, with the ability to adapt to other operating systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in AWS, Docker, or other related technologies.
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
• Certificate Authority Administration experience or significant experience using PKI to secure services and communications
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
