Your missions

Immediate need for an Account Manager for a privately held, global specialty chemical company with headquarters in Suwanee, GA (Atlanta). We deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our customers globally in supporting their manufacturing and finished products. This growth related role will report to the VP of Sales and be a key team member in helping to further business development in existing commercial accounts.

Position Summary:

This position will be the point person for building and improving the sales pipeline for existing and new business opportunities for our Commercial Sales team.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Generating leads, uncovering new opportunities, and facilitating initial contact while focusing on growing revenues at existing accounts within territory.
  • Builds the sales pipeline by conducting outbound calls to potential customers to sell products/services and create appointments for fields sales associates.
  • Creates positive customer engagement by managing and executing outbound business development activities with an emphasis on order renewals, cross-selling and up-selling to the existing Commercial Consumer Goods Manufacturing Customers Ensures that an excellent customer experience is provided.
  • Answers questions, follows-up on problems/issues, gathers customer feedback, conducts business reviews (in collaboration with Sales Representative), and ensures services are effectively provided.
  • Builds a network (internally and with customer base) to ensure that customer issues/concerns are quickly resolved. Main Success Metrics Customer Satisfaction via customer survey results Year over year Revenue Growth of assigned customers Appointments/Leads provided to sales

Must have had successful experiences: 1-3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in Adhesives, Chemicals, Fragrances or Beauty Products Categories preferred but not required. 

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering or Biology
