Position Overview

This role is responsible for providing analytical support to 1847Financial. In partnership with the Assistant Vice President, Sales and Financials, this role is responsible for developing financial models and analyzing financial data to provide business insights to position the 1847Financial firms for growth and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of timely and actionable decision support and data analysis for 1847Financial.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Managing Principles to remain up to date on the state of the business and anticipate upcoming needs for each firm.
  • Develop field leader compensation strategy that supports stated business objectives.
  • Provide analytics to evaluate the success of the field leader compensation plans and provide recommended changes annually.
  • Develop ad hoc financial professional financing arrangements to meet the recruiting needs of the firm while balancing 1847Financial expected returns.
  • Perform regular analysis of existing financial professional financing arrangements for profitability and performance of actual results to projected models.
  • Works cross-functionally to assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets for the development of strategic business plans for 1847Financial.
  • Leads expense management for 1847Financial and report on trends.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Director, Facilities and firm operations leaders to effectively manage office space decisions, relocations, etc.
  • Responsible for Financial Professional financing administration.
  • Responsible for licensing exception review and recommendations to leadership.
  • Responsible for review of sales contests and recommendations to leadership.
  • Work to streamline processes and expand reporting and analysis to aid in business insights.

Skills And Abilities

  • A strong knowledge of financial professional and field leadership compensation models and contracts.
  • A strong knowledge of life insurance and annuity distribution profit and loss and wealth management profit and loss.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • The ability to effectively analyze data and provide business insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook; advanced knowledge of Excel required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding collaboration and relationship building skills
  • The ability to work independently with minimal direction

Education

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required and
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience

  • 5-7 Years
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in a financial analysis role
  • Strong working knowledge of life insurance products and concepts required

Strong working knowledge of wealth management financial professional compensation.

  • Strong knowledge of firm financial structures

Required

  • FINRA Series 7 Preferred
  • FINRA Series 24 Preferred
  • FINRA Series 63 Preferred

Base Salary Range: $109,000 - $130,000
