Evoke is seeking a Junior Jira Developer to join our team! 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements and develop tailored dashboards for reporting, tracking, and service enhancement
  • Configure, install, manage, maintain, and optimize Atlassian products, specifically JIRA and Confluence
  • Create, configure, and maintain sites, spaces, projects, workflows, and issue types within Jira/Confluence
  • Maintain and adhere to application development and administration best practices 
  • Analyze, research, manage, and implement other integrated Atlassian tools, plug-ins, and applications
  • Facilitate/present Jira and Confluence user training
  • Track, consolidate, and update project(s)/task(s), across multiple teams, and provide status updates
  • Provide guidance on workflow optimization and overarching project/task management practices
  • Collaborate with developers and administrators to implement changes, and incorporate data transfers and automated workflows and API calls to/from Jira/Confluence

Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Experience creating, configuring, managing, maintaining, and administering Jira/Confluence environments, sites, spaces, projects, workflows, and issue types
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and manage complex project requirements efficiently
  • Experience in technical writing

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience 
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
  • Experience working in the Federal Government, specifically the Department of Homeland Security (preferred)
  • Experience working in Chief Information Security Officer Divisions or understanding of cybersecurity policies
  • Atlassian Certification (preferred)
  • Current Security+ or CASP certification (preferred)

Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information.

Work Location

  • Springfield, VA (hybrid, on-site with some remote opportunity)
