About PickyStory: PickyStory is a fast-growing upsell platform designed to boost the Average Order Value (AOV) of e-commerce brands. Our platform helps e-commerce businesses increase their average order value by seamlessly integrating upsell opportunities into their online store’s customer journey. We are a fully remote company, and this position is for the US only.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partnerships Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts, from lead sourcing to deal closure. This role requires a proactive approach to building relationships with Shopify agencies and tech partners to contribute to the company’s business development. You will be directly contributing to our growth by identifying potential partners, engaging with them, and building new revenue sources for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Self-source and identify potential partners through networking and market research.
  • Manage the entire partnership cycle, from initial contact and discovery to engagement and revenue generation.
  • Meet and exceed partnership targets by consistently building a pipeline.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and how PickyStory fits within it to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on customer insights and market trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with e-commerce industry developments and the competitive landscape to position PickyStory effectively.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Partnerships Manager in an e-commerce company, with a proven track record of building successful partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce industry, with direct experience in the Shopify ecosystem being a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to self-source partners and effectively manage the partnership cycle from start to finish.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to overcome challenges.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for achieving monthly targets.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote and fast-paced environment.
