TASKS

They Are Looking For a Junior Analyst To Join The Team, You Will Work Closely With The Team To Support Client Projects, Perform Financial Analysis, And Contribute To Business Development Initiatives. Main Tasks Include:

  • Assist in conducting financial analyses and valuations for potential M&A transactions.
  • Support the preparation of client presentations, information memoranda, and other marketing materials.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities.
  • Help prepare due diligence materials and assist in the due diligence process.
  • Monitor industry trends and news to keep the team informed of relevant market developments.
  • Collaborate with team members on various aspects of deal execution and client management.
  • Contribute to internal projects aimed at improving firm processes and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
  • Able to provide a training agreement from your educational institution.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and develop a career in M&A.

Here Is What You Need To Do:

Applying for NIE number in Ibiza

There are two ways you can apply for NIE in Ibiza:

  • If you are still in your home country and you haven`t moved to Ibiza yet, you can contact the Spanish council based in your country and directly apply for NIE there. It can take up to 4 working weeks to process the documents. However, this way of application is recommended for people who don`t speak Spanish as the employees in the embassy will speak the native language of your country.
  • If you are already in Ibiza you will have to visit the National Police Station (Comecaría de la Policía) located on Avinguda de la Pau, s/n, 07800 Eivissa, Illes Balears. You can make your appointment using the following link. If you there are no appointments available at the moment you can also directly visit the office, however, you will have to queue and it is not guaranteed that they will be able to process your application on the exact date.

Applying for NIE number in Palma de Mallorca

You can apply for NIE number in Mallorca in two ways:

  • If you haven`t moved to Mallorca yet and you are currently located in your home country we will suggest doing the NIE application directly from your home country by visiting the responsible Spanish Embassy. In addition, take in mind that this process could take up to 4 weeks period, therefore start with your application on time!
  • If you are already in Mallorca you will have to visit the Oficina de Extranjeros located on Carrer de Felicià Fuster, 7, 07006 Palma, Illes Balears. You can book your appointment here. After opening the link in the drop-down menu choose Illes Balears and then click on Aceptar. The system will show you a new drop-down menu choose Certificados EU or if not possible, proceed with Solicitud de Autorizaciones A new window will pop up, where you need to fill in your personal information, right after that the system will show you the available dates and times for an appointment. Due to the high demand for appointments is also possible that you receive the following message:

En este momento no hay citas disponibles. En breve la oficina pondrá a su disponición nuevas citas.

Meaning that at this moment there are no available appointments. In such a case what we recommend is to visit the same website at 08:00 am on Monday morning when new appointments become available. However, if you need your NIE urgently or you are not able to book your appointment at all, you can also visit the office directly (we recommend that you go there around 06:30 in the morning, in order to get your number for appointment and wait if they will be able to proceed your application.

Applying for NIE number in Palma de Menorca

You can apply for NIE number in Menorca in two ways:

  • If you haven`t moved to Menorca yet and you are currently located in your home country we will suggest doing the NIE application directly from your home country by visiting the responsible Spanish Embassy. What document you have to prepare?

Before visiting the Foreign Affairs office in any of the Balearic islands you need to prepare the required documents:

  • If you are staying in Spain for up to 3 months you need to fill in and sign the standard application- form EX-15
  • If you are staying in Spain for more than 3 months you need to fill in and sign the application form EX-18
  • You have to bring with you original and copy of your passport or identity card (for EU citizens)
  • Photos
  • Your Training Agreement (Must be translated in Spanish!)
  • A confirmation of the paid administration tax. The tax fee is usually €10.60, which you can pay in any bank using this form https://sede.policia.gob.es:38089/Tasa790_012/ImpresoRellenar. Filled it in and mark "Regimen Comunitario" Certificado de Registro / Tarjeta de Residencia.

Getting social security ?

If your placement in The Balearic islands is paid, apart from the NIE you are also required to get a Social Security number!

What is the Social security for?

Número de Seguridad Social or the Social security number is an important arrangement you need to obtain for the period of your internship in The Balearic! The document will give you access to public health care and the opportunity to take a Health card.

Take in mind that in most cases they will not speak English in 99% of the cases, so if you cannot speak a word of Spanish we recommend that you take a piece of a paper with "Necesito número de la seguridad social" written on it. Then, they will create it for you.

Applying for Social Security number in Ibiza

The Social security office in Ibiza is located on Av. Pere Matutes Noguera, 18, 07800 Eivissa, Illes Balears, which is on 5 minutes walking distance from the city center of Ibiza. You can visit the office Monday- Friday from 09:00- 13:00.

Applying for Social Security number in Palma de Mallorca

There are several Social security offices (Tesoreria general de la seguridad social) in Mallorca, the full list you can see here. However, the main office is called Instituto Nacional De La Seguridad Social and is located on Carrer Pere Dezcallar Net, 3, 07003 Palma, Illes Balears. You can get there using buses 1, 2, 5, 16, 33, 46. Their working hours are Monday- Friday between 09:00- 14:00.

Applying for Social Security number in Palma de Menorca

The Social Security office you have to visit in Menorca is located on Plaza Biosfera, 1 -2 ( Jardins De Malbuger ), 07703 Mahón, Balearic, their working hours are Monday- Friday from 09:00- 14:00. The office is located on the East coast of Menorca closer to Mahón.

Applying for Social Security number in Formentera

The Social security office in Formentera is located on Calle del Vapor Manolito, 07870 Savina, La, Islas Baleares.

They Will Ask You For:

Getting a bank account?

Before making your bank account in The Balearic islands make sure to investigate the location you will be living and pick a bank office nearby!

Here Is What You Need To Do:

The bank office where you have made your bank account will also be the place that you need to visit in case of issues, questions, credit/ debit card picking or even account cancellation, so make sure that you choose an office that is easily accessible for you. Please note that some banks may even ask you to create an entirely new bank account if you what to change the office where your current account is located into!

In order to open a bank account in The Balearic islands you need to prepare the following documents:
