About The Role

Position: Senior Recruiter - LatAm Focus

Working Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm EST (flexible)

Salary Range: $1200 - $2000 USD.

Type of contract: Independent contractor

Location: Remote - For Citizens of Latin America - only English cv will be reviewed.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our internal hiring team at Hire Scout, focusing on sourcing and recruiting top offshore talent in Latin America. This role is crucial in supporting our company's growth and expansion in the region, as well as enhancing our ability to serve our clients effectively. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape our recruitment processes and grow with the team as our first internal recruiter.

Hire Scout is a talent sourcing / headhunting company specializing in connecting US businesses with top-tier offshore talent. We're expanding our internal hiring team and seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join us in our mission to revolutionize global recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent across various industries in Latin America
  • Help lead and shape how we source talent
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for a diverse range of positions, both for Hire Scout and our clients
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and client teams to understand job requirements and create compelling job descriptions
  • Conduct screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Stay updated on labor laws, employment trends, and best practices in Latin American countries
  • Develop and nurture relationships with universities, professional associations, and other relevant networks in the region
  • Utilize and optimize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and insights to senior management
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance Hire Scout's reputation in Latin America


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources,or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on offshore or international hiring ideally
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing talent in Latin American countries
  • In-depth knowledge of Latin American job markets, cultures, and employment practices
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus!
  • Comfortable hiring in other countries a plus! (Phillipines)
  • Strong understanding of various job functions across different industries
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across cultures
  • Proficiency in using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruitment tools as needed
  • Experience with virtual interviewing and remote hiring processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team


Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications
  • Experience working with or for multinational companies or recruitment agencies
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for US companies
  • A proven track record of success in placing qualified candidates
