Job Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities: The position will be responsible for the production of the monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements for our accounting clients. This includes, entering and importing financial data, bank reconciliations, processing payroll entries and other month-end accounting activities. Other responsibilities include maintaining fix assets, assist in tax return prep during busy season, and other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years or more of experience in accounting with knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must be willing to learn new software and systems.
Ideally all candidates will be certified in QBO (QuickBooks online)
Highly organized, detail oriented, hands on
Highly analytical and able to prioritize and multi-task.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment
Interact professionally with staff and customers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
2 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles including cash & tax basis accounting
Knowledge of accounting software, QuickBooks Online (Accounting CS a plus)
Strong Excel skills required - ability to create formulas, set up and manipulate spreadsheets, use macros and VLOOKUP’s
