Accountant

This is a remote position.

Scope

• Provide financial reports and insights to support business decision-making
  
• Optimize and maintain the integrity of the company’s financial data
  
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
  
• Monday to Friday
  
• 8 a hours a day anytime between 6am and 9pm Eastern (7pm - 9pm Manila Time)
  

• Classify expenses and set rules for appropriate classification, including payroll
  
• Maintain and update the balance sheet
  
• Provide cash flow statements and profit & loss statements
  
• Reconcile cash for multiple bank accounts
  
• Participate in the review process for accounts payable
  
• Monitor and act upon accounts receivable
  
• Work with QuickBooks Online for accounting tasks
  
• Learn and utilize Service Titan software for invoicing integration
  
• Assist in cleanup of data following recent migration from QuickBooks Desktop to Online
  
• Adapt to and learn U.S. tax codes and accounting practices, particularly for the state of Georgia
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines
  
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  
• Experience with U.S. accounting practices
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Ability to learn new software quickly (e.g., Service Titan)
  
• For effective coordination within the team, must have fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  
• Georgia tax codes familiarity is a plus
