A Senior Bookkeeper Is Expected To

  • Manage all aspects of the company’s financial record-keeping, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Prepare and process payroll, including tax filings and compliance
  • Accounts Payable: Process and maintain accounts payable records, vendor invoices, and payment runs for approval.
  • Accounts Receivable: Oversee accounts receivable, monitor customer credits, and manage returns
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Generate financial reports for management review.
  • Assist our Accountants as required
  • Office Administration:
    • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and emails
    • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are available
    • Assist in office operations as required
What it takes to be part of our team?

  • At least 5+ years experience in Australian accounting
  • Experience in bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, financial reporting, documentation, email management, managing phone calls
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience using Odoo is highly desirable and any accounting softwares
  • AU Taxation experience is a plus
  • High accuracy and attention to details
  • Mission-focused approach
  • Time management skills, ability to adhere on time constraint deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
