SUMMARY:
We are looking for a full-time Director, Accounting to manage the global monthly, quarterly and annual close; lead the formulation of internal controls and policies; implement cost management strategies; and work with management in financial reporting and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and manage the accounting function, including invoicing, reporting, account reconciliations and customer/vendor management
- Lead the month end close process for both our US parent company as well as our Israel subsidiary, including financial statement compilation and consolidation
- Global payroll and employee expense reimbursement
- Global accounts payable and payment process
- Global tax reporting and compliance, both in the US and in Israel, including management of third party tax advisors and completion of US income tax reporting and Israel statutory reporting
- Establish and implement internal controls and streamline existing processes
- Collaborate with finance and company leadership to establish budgets, monitor progress and measure results
- Work with other departments to facilitate the movement of financial information throughout the company
- Ad hoc financial analysis
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Certified Public Accountant in the US, or international equivalent
- Experience in US GAAP, IFRS is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years in Big 4 public accounting and 10+ years overall. SaaS company and publicly traded company experience a strong plus.
- Systems savvy, significant experience with Netsuite and integration of Netsuite with other back office software
- Management experience, including managing multiple levels of of direct and indirect reports and experience building a high performing accounting team
- Motivated, detail-oriented and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire to work in a high-growth company and be part of a close-knit team

- Critical-thinker, high attention to detail, depth of analysis and ability to communicate accounting results across company departments
- Strong project management and time management skills are required.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and fully-remote
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization are a must

The U.S. annualized pay range for this position is $140,000-$185,000 USD. In addition, certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales-based commissions. Base pay offered within the stated range may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related skills, professional experience, education and licenses (if applicable), work location and compensation market data.
Base pay is just a part of our total rewards program. Placer provides medical, dental and vision coverage as well as flexible time off, 401K and equity awards for certain roles.
