Client Service Specialist (Windows)

Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defence and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. What we are looking for

• Planning and continuous development of Windows client infrastructure
• Monitoring and ensuring the operation of Windows client systems
• Examination, testing and implementation of new Client Operating systems and technologies if required
• Cooperation with business areas regarding learning about and introducing new innovation technologies
• Installation and configuration of software and hardware
• Updating and monitoring of Windows clients and installed software
• Technological support for business customers
• Participation in the analysis of problems related to the Windows client operating system, testing and implementation of solutions
• Development, maintenance and optimization of automation scripts
• Windows client operating system security setting, taking into account the current security standards in a large company environment
• Cooperation with partner areas of IT Infrastructure

What qualifications you should have

• IT related education
• At least 3 years of experience in a Windows client (desktop) or server operating environment

Knowledge and use of Windows Client operating systems, technologies (for example: Bitlocker, Sandbox)

• Experience in monitoring Windows Client Operating Systems

Experience in central distribution of software

Experience in troubleshooting and repairing clients

Documentation of completed tasks in the ticket management system

• Independent and result-oriented work, at the same time an active team player role

Fluent German, English and Hungarian language skills, both written and spoken

What qualifications would be nice to have

• Microsoft certifications
• Experience in a VDI environment
• Desktop commissioning experience acquired in an international environment
• Experience in server operation

ITIL v3 or 4 certification
