As the heart of our clinics – providing support for our clients as well as our team members, your responsibilities will range from?handling client calls by answering questions, finding solutions to issues, scheduling, answering concerns or complaints and providing essential information. Prescriber Medical Administrative Assistants have superior customer service skills and professionalism, and an ability to multi-task, be conscientious and compassionate to clients and staff.

Summary

The individual in this position will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to make sure the highest quality work standards are achieved and maintained according to practice policies and procedures. Must be compassionate, dependable, organized, have good communication skills, multitask, and work well with other team members. We provide the highest quality of mental health care to patients at all phases of their mental wellness journey. The primary role of the Interventional Intake Insurance coordinator member is to remotely oversee the daily requests for VOB’s, PA, Insurance email inbox, Interventional tracker updates, uploading documentation to individual charts, attend team meetings and supervisions, monitor any changes to insurance for the interventional services, Five 9 calls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and communicate insurance coverage and verification of Benefits.
  • Document all correspondence in EMR according to policy.
  • Review requests for Prior Authorization, communicate any issues prior to submission to the team.
  • Submit and resubmit prior authorizations as needed, communicate status of patients awaiting treatment with provider.
  • Work with provider on peer to peer and appeals.
  • Utilize Trakstar and adhere to timelines related to our external vendor Neurostar
  • Answer incoming calls on Five 9 and disposition calls as needed.
  • Update the patient charts, Interventional tracker, monitor and correspond through intake email, and team’s channels on a regular basis.
  • Identify and report changes in insurances as they arise via submission of smart sheets.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
  • Follows company policies and procedures as well as adhering to state and/or federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of medical office experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical authorizations (Preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Understand and comply with HIPAA
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently.
