Job Description
In this position, you will perform general patient access and registration duties in EPIC. Responsibilities include answering telephones, making appointments, processing referrals, maintaining provider templates and appointment schedules, and verifying patient demographics and insurance coverage. This role primarily supports the Primary Care Call Center.

Work Environment
100% remote in the state of WA and ID (within 60 minutes of Spokane). Candidates will need to pick up equipment at a location near Renton, Spokane, Capitol Hill, Bellevue, or Tacoma. Candidates within the Vancouver market are disqualified due to being outside the KPWA area. This is a high-volume call center for Patient Access Representatives with schedules falling within Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM to support current call volume trends. Candidates can work onsite if preferred (Renton/Spokane) but it is not required. The location is mass transit accessible with bus and Amtrak lines, and offers free onsite parking. The newer building includes bike rooms, café stands, yoga, and workout rooms (closed during COVID). Training is Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM, including 7 days of classroom instruction over Microsoft Teams followed by 10 days of 'Safety Zone' with live patient calls and mentor support. The week of graduation, the Workforce Analyst will provide the permanent schedule.
