Job description

Description

  • Responsible for finding and qualifying new accountants and bookkeepers who are not yet customers and would benefit from the partner program
  • Majority of the job is identifying and speaking to prospect companies to understand their business and position how this client how can benefit their work.
  • Collecting firms or bringing firms to them completely cold (not getting a lead list at all)
  • Connecting with high TAM customers (account or bookkeeper that has more than 100 clients than they serve)
  • Once they identify the leads – (1) get them to sign onto a platform and add a customer and (2) and then pass them over to someone else (no account management)
  • Responsible for organizing events for potential customers to identify opportunity (i.e. lunches, coffees, networking events, etc.)
  • Advised to call on accounts prior to going to the office or doing customer drop ins to provide information


Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE

  • Must have past experience working in or with customers in the accounting/bookkeeping industry
  • 3+ years of B2B sales (staffing agency, product or service sales)
  • Someone who has proven track record of infiltrating a market and making something of it
  • Someone who has a lot of self-accountability and creativity around how to get in front of customers
  • Someone who is not scared to pick the phone up or walk into a customer unannounced
  • Someone who has the ability to deliver results in a high growth environment
  • Coachable and flexible with constant change in the role
  • Someone with strong EQ and business acumen
  • Ability to create sales strategies and execute on them


NICE TO HAVE

  • Has a former network of leads that they can lean on it (not required, but would benefit them)
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end workings of an accounting practice is desirable but not essential
