About the role:

As a Sr. Business Development Representative (BDR) within Serrala Treasury Services (STS), you are responsible for generating net-new qualified leads and opportunities, with a focus on service-driven sales in the corporate treasury space. You will engage with senior-level finance, accounting, and treasury decision-makers within Fortune 1000 organizations in the US and Canada. This role offers a unique opportunity to remain actively involved throughout the sales process, providing ongoing support to ensure the successful closing of deals.


This position is an excellent stepping stone toward a lucrative career in enterprise services sales, with expanded earning potential through additional kickers tied to successful sales closures.


Your Day to Day:

  • Lead Nurturing: Pursue and nurture leads from marketing campaigns, website sign-ins, and trade show interactions, focusing on turning them into sales-qualified leads (SQLs) for the STS practice.
  • Sales Process Support: Continue to engage with prospects beyond the SQL stage, assisting STS sales leaders in maintaining communication, ensuring timely responses, and driving the sales process forward.
  • Client Engagement: Play a key role in maintaining client relationships throughout the sales cycle, ensuring that prospects feel valued and that the STS team meets all deadlines and commitments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the STS sales team to support the sales strategy and ensure that opportunities are moved efficiently through the sales pipeline.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What makes you excel in this position:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or minimum 2 years of experience in lead identification and lead generation.
  • Treasury Experience: Ideal candidates will have a background in business development or sales within the treasury products and services domain, such as treasury workstations, cash management systems, corporate payment products, and in-house banking solutions.
  • Skills: Strong outbound B2B business development skills, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesloft is preferred.
  • Sales Orientation: A sales-oriented personality with the drive to succeed in a high-performance environment.
  • Growth Potential: Motivated by personal targets and excited by the opportunity to develop into a sales role within the STS practice.


Salary Range

United States: USD 60,000-65,000

Canada: CAD 80,000-88,000


The above annual base salary range represents a general guideline for the low and high end of the pay range for this position. However, the actual salary offered will be determined on various factors including but not limited to location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training as well as market and business considerations. In addition to the base salary, this role offers additional incentives tied to both the successful conversion of leads into sales-qualified leads (SQLs) and active participation in the sales process through deal closure. This structure provides significant earning potential for top performers who excel in both lead nurturing and sales support.
