Position Description
We are currently seeking a digital PCR sales specialist within our Life Science business area to join our European digital PCR team.
Digital PCR is a key growth pillar for QIAGEN’s roadmap and the position will have ownership for all commercial aspects of the business segment, including opportunity creation, pipeline management and forecasting future business.
The geographical area of responsibility will be the DACH region and substantial travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Driving the regional dPCR sales targets together with the wider Sales team.
- Pre and post sales dPCR management within the DACH region.
- Qualification, presentation and demonstration for the system.
- Working closely together with the team.
- Application insight and technical support concerning the instrument.
- Budget responsibility and setting up the quote and closing the deal.
- Management of stakeholders.
Position Requirements
- Master of Science or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge on dPCR and technical support concerning the instrument
- Experience within the Life Science field/molecular biology, as well as commercial background.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills at all business levels.
- Very good written and verbal English language communication skills.
- Professional level of an additional local language, written and verbal.
- Self motivated and knows how to work under pressure.
- Team player but understands how to work independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% within the DACH region.
