Job description

Key responsibilities:

We’re on the lookout for an integrations developer who has experience across a range of areas. Whether its API or EDI you’re no stranger to making things happen.

Our product set has grown, so we’re now looking to develop our integrations across:

  • Ecommerce products
  • ERP products
  • WMS products
  • POS products
  • Geographies – each country’s approach is unique and we’re expanding in North America

The priority is expansion of our integrations across the above products. Once delivered you’ll also work alongside the existing integrations team (who are largely focused on transport integrations for TMS clients in AU through EDI) to automate repeatable processes.

Why you will love this role:

  • The opportunity to make a difference: we are not a large company tied down by bureaucracy, you can implement work quickly and see results.
  • Own your role and the integrations execution: You’ll partner with product and support to understand the landscape and where efforts are needed. You’ll take that direction and understand the implementation and deliver
  • Lots of opportunity to learn and grow:  You will be working with an experienced Support Manager and broader tech team. They are also very open to ideas and new initiatives that you come up with.
  • Time to execute, not time in meetings: we do have a couple of set meetings and lots of collaboration within the team, but the majority of your time will be used to execute your work.
  • Friendly, remote team: we are a fun team, largely based in Australia, but also remote. You will get the chance to collaborate with multiple teams who are all inclusive and open.

Essential Skills / qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering integrations from your client to/from Ecommerce, ERP, WMS providers
  • Programming experience with C# .NET 4.8, MVC + Razor Page and JavaScript syntax
  • Database design experience with MSSQL + TSQL
  • Demonstrable experience in development of REST services, as well as SOAP/EDI integrations
  • Experience of various messaging protocols including; Web Services (REST API), webhooks, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/S, AS2 and AS4.
  • Excellent time management skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable problem solving and analysis skills
  • Implementing third party integration services to minimise reinventing the wheel

Desired Skills:

  • Authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML)
  • Process automation/streamlining
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Experience delivering transport and ecommerce integrations in North America
  • POS integration delivery
  • ETL tools (Boomi, Pentaho)
  • SPA web development (React, Angular, Vue)
  • Cloud platform services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB)
  • Message queueing (RabbitMQ)
  • GraphQL
