This is a remote position.

This role involves direct client and vendor communications in a management role for a large, busy account with a large global client. The candidate would be part of a vibrant, diverse team of global talent, connected in a follow-the-sun-model, utilizing exciting new process and technology to deliver best-in-class client service.


In this role the successful candidate will focus on leading and developing a strong team of Project Managers, while also providing strategic support and thought leadership to our internal team, whilst never losing site of the importance of developing successful client/vendor partnership. The ideal candidate will have strong client management, leadership, Project Management and Program Management skills, and will be a dynamic leader who brings their team forward in a progressive manner.
This role will involve working hours until 3pm PST.


Responsibilities
            Manage a team of Project Managers in a client/vendor dynamic, mentoring, developing and driving that team to success. Build and educate your PM team on how to prioritize and meet client needs, whilst working in the client/vendor environment
            Provide best in class, boutique level client service, not only meeting client goals, but also driving initiatives that are client and internally beneficial, pushing the Program to new heights
            Work closely with the Program Director and Production Operations Manager to ensure a streamlined, collaborative approach towards a successful Program.
            Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, develop project plans, and align them with the overall globalization program goals
            Provide strategic support to the both the client and the internal management teams, offering insights and recommendations on project management best practices, resource allocation, and process improvements
            Focus on Thought Leadership and Innovation in all disciplines on the Program.
            Embrace, understand and evangelize to your team of PMs the nuance of client and vendor relationships and strategy.
            Guide and work with your team of PMs to develop comprehensive project schedules, track progress, and communicate project status to stakeholders, including both client and internal senior management
            Work with the Program Director and Senior Finance Manager, to ensure financial compliance, development and resource optimization
            Identify Program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address any issues that may impact delivery, quality or perception on the Program.
            Foster strong relationships with external localization vendors, ensuring alignment, adherence to quality standards, timely delivery of project deliverables and combined best practice and service to client.
            Support the Program Director and internal Program management team in driving program-level initiatives, such as process improvements, standardization, and scalability, evangelize those ideas and success stories to client.
            Monitor team performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports and insights to Program Director and internal senior management.
            Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project and program management, and apply them to enhance project outcomes. Use these insights to drive thought leadership on the Program.


Requirements
Strong experience working in a vendor/client relationship.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing localization projects, with some experience in leadership and management.
Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally
Experience in program management or providing strategic support to program managers
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with localization software tools, translation management systems, and industry-standard localization workflows
Strong knowledge of internationalization and localization best practices, including cultural adaptation and linguistic quality assurance
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to overcome challenges and ensure project success
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
