In this position, as an IT Desktop Technician II, and will assist with technical support to desktop computers/laptops, applications, and related technology. This includes performing equipment installation/upgrades, troubleshooting and problem resolution, asset management, and preventative maintenance in accordance with standard guidelines and procedures. This position will interface with other information technology team members, as well as employees, leaders, and physicians on a regular basis to support information technology needs. Communicates with customer throughout the lifecycle of the provided service to ensure the customer stays informed. Documents all actions of end-user requests and/or problem resolution using tracking management systems. Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Banner Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
The typical schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 8a-5p with limited schedule flexibility, On-call support is required, including some holidays. The primary location for this role will be Sterling Regional Medical Center, Sterling Colorado, this is a rural 25 bed Critical Access hospital , and there are 3 surrounding Banner Clinics as well. An ideal candidate would have an associate degree and at least 2 years Information Technology experience and is self-motivated and able to work independently.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting business planning, tactical execution, and business integration in assigned technology area. The primary focus is to ensure customer satisfaction for all IT activities and support services. Acts as a resource in documenting issues, problems and concerns in regard to IT resources, tools and systems. This position demonstrates technical knowledge of infrastructure and communications processes and supports system defined objectives relative to the company’s business and healthcare requirements. Interacts as part of a team and can support some company Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications. May provide cross coverage for Help Desk, Desktop Support or Audio/Visual teams.

Has decision-making authority for projects and applications and works at peer level across diverse areas and multiple states. Participates in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, strategic and planning sessions, implementation activities, and supports functions company-wide.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree or two years of related experience in Information Technology is required.
Must be proficient and technically adept in the use and operation of a wide range of desktop, mobile devices and network connectivity. Knowledge of Microsoft Office O365 applications is required.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and interact with various levels of customer and support groups. Requires communication and presentation and organizational skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across all services and at various levels. Must have knowledge of Information Technology in a fast-paced environment. Requires exceptional communication, both written and verbal.
Working variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a pager may be required.
