Job Description

  • Prepare feasibility studies and the development of initiative proposals
  • Build robust commercial business cases with Project Owner and Commercial Finance that meets the needs of the initiative objectives
  • Manage and influence Project Sponsors and Owners across different functions within the company to ensure their full engagement and active participation throughout the initiative.
  • Manage and liaise with external partners to achieve the initiatives expected outcomes. Promote business ownership of requirements and initiative deliverables.
  • Drive ownership and accountability of deliverables and tasks with both business, technology and any external partners.
  • Lead the creation of fully integrated initiative plans covering end to end initiative delivery where appropriate and necessary.
  • Ownership of planning, scheduling, coordinating and managing all aspects of initiatives - as required by different project methodologies.
  • Co-ordination and alignment of all project team including resource planning throughout the life of the initiative
  • Drive technical delivery of functional requirements, technical designs and decisions by working
  • Continually evaluate time, cost and resources to ensure committed timescales are met.
  • Track and present initiative data to senior managers as required for evaluation and decisionmaking.
  • Project sponsor, project board, and key stakeholders actively engaged with and satisfied with initiative approach and outcomes


The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in leading, supporting, and managing a team of diverse makeup - internal/eternal, onshore, near-shore, off-shore
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated but also a team player / able to work collaboratively
  • Sound knowledge of project and change management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, of executives, managers, and subject matter experts including the 3rd parties
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivating them to go the extra mile working with all teams to produce high-quality artifacts as part of the product delivery process
  • Strong technical product intuition and user empathy
  • Advocate of Digital and Agile approaches, and drive simplicity and scalability.
  • Expert Knowledge of business processes in one or more relevant business areas
  • Deep understanding of the design of robust application solutions to support business requirements.
  • Deep understanding of the design, build, testing, and implementation of application solutions.
  • Strong skills in the use of IT methodology, tools, and techniques.
  • Project Management accreditation
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (influencing and negotiating, expectation and relationship management)
  • Proficient knowledge of Agile methodologies and as such, someone who will share knowledge and enable other team members.
  • Technical awareness of integrations, APIs and Microservices, PSP, Legal and compliance, Tax solutions would be a distinct advantage.
