Description

We are a purpose-driven professional services firm dedicated to providing digital transformation and program support services for a range of diverse federal program missions. Our focus extends across the intersections of national security, public health and safety, and financial services programs. We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our digital transformation and operations management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex information systems and web design and development projects. They will manage the all the aspects of entire IT project work, including planning, organizing, and coordinating the work of a team of developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired level of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for defining project scope and objectives including developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, and project and financial tracking and analysis. 
  • Manages project timelines, delegates tasks and tracks project resources. 
  • Delivers project deliverables within budget and deadline. 
  • Consults with customer and project team personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations. 
  • Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers. 
  • Identifies and analyzes project problems and creates solutions involving technology, methodology, cost, and scheduling to overcome project related issues. 
  • Defines project scope and objectives including developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, and project and financial tracking and analysis. 
  • Documents, analyzes and proposes process changes or re-engineering approaches based on an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to current and future state business and technical environments.
  • Participates in strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • At least 6 years of experience managing complex information systems and web design and development projects.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of web development, site analytics and Drupal sites management.
  • Minimum of 3 years running an Agile Software development projects.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Agile Scrum artifacts and rractice.
  • Experience running or supporting public facing federal agency websites (Drupal CMS) .  
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills especially with federal agency stakeholders. 
  • Competence using and enhancing JIRA/Atlassian or equivalent task management system and generating PMP artifacts using same. 
  • Drupal Web Project Management Experience in Development, Maintenance, Operations, and Project Transitioning from incumbent. 
  • Managerial Competence with/Knowledge of SmartSheets, AWS, Human Centered Design, Web Development, Drupal CMS,  Multi-Language Content Management, Multi-language Content Creation, FedRAMP Cloud Security,  508/EWCAG Requirements, Office 365.

  • 8-hour shift during normal business hours of 8 am – 5 pm EST
