Where You’ll Work:

  • SmartSimple is a remote-first workplace. We recognize the distinct advantages of workplace flexibility.
  • SmartSimple’s headquarters are located in Toronto, Canada with our EMEA office based out of Dublin, Ireland. Employees will have the option of working from the office (when it is safe to do so) if they wish or they may work remotely from home.


What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into SmartSimple configurations.
  • Configure system workflows, forms, permissions, and roles within the SmartSimple platform to meet client needs.
  • Assist in the setup of data structures, reports, and user interfaces within SmartSimple.
  • Participate in discovery sessions to gather and document functional and technical requirements for the configuration process.
  • Test configured solutions to ensure they meet client requirements and business processes.
  • Provide support to the implementation consultant in ensuring timely and accurate system setups.
  • Conduct data imports, data mapping, and validation to ensure data accuracy during system implementation.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues, resolve technical challenges, and escalate as needed to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all system configurations, settings, and changes made during the implementation process.
  • Stay up to date with SmartSimple updates and best practices to ensure configurations are optimized for performance and scalability.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in software development, implementation, or system integration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, or similar
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and database management (SQL).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SmartSimple or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in software development lifecycles, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
