The Opportunity 

As an experienced Account Executive, you will join the Platform Sales team and be responsible for showcasing our data & intelligence and growth solution services to a wide range of potential clients in the food industry. You will leverage your expertise to demonstrate the value of Tridge’s platform in enhancing supply chain transparency, optimizing procurement processes, and driving business growth. Your role will involve engaging with key decision-makers, understanding their unique challenges, and presenting tailored solutions that meet their specific needs. You will be able to see and measure the growth you will be taking part in achieving.

What we trust you to do

New Account Acquisition:

  • Develop sales strategies and close deals with enterprise-level food buyers (retailers and distributors) or sellers (Producers, Growers) by leveraging Tridge solutions, including transaction data analytics, trade solutions, digital advertisement, and market intelligence.
  • Conduct rigorous sales qualification processes, evaluating all opportunities based on criteria such as budget, decision-making authority, needs assessment, and timing.
  • Generate new leads and pitch growth solution services to potential Enterprise and SMB B2B buyer or seller clients using methods such as cold calling, emailing, and other outreach techniques.

 

Account Management:

  • Provide and prepare product demonstrations and engage in consultative selling to effectively communicate the value proposition of our platform service.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Tridge cross-functional stakeholders, including data & intelligence, sales operations, and solution empowerment teams, to support best practice initiatives throughout the business.
  • Prepare and manage proposals and contracts, overseeing them through to the closing phase with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Network management to generate recurring revenues, cross-sell, and upsell to existing accounts.
  • Execute contracts promptly to ensure timely payment and provision of contractual services
  • Collect and report customer feedback to enhance the service quality of the platform and ensure customer satisfaction.

Channel Partner Management:

  • Partially engage in channel partner development and engagement, assisting in the establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with channel partners to drive mutual growth and success.

 

What you need to succeed 

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales and account management experience with a proven track record of achieving goalsPrevious experience working with food buyers (retailers and/or distributors) and/or sellers (Farmers, Producers, Manufacturers); experience in other roles within the food industry is also acceptable
  • Self-sufficient and focused sales executive with strong ability to execute plans and drive revenue results
  • Native speaker of Spanish with an advanced level of written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of effectively speaking to senior business stakeholders
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to operate with little supervision and quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong business acumen, creative thinking, and presentation skills
