Veritone is seeking a motivated Customer Marketing Manager to lead and execute customer-facing marketing communications strategies to enhance customer engagement, increase customer retention and drive customer loyalty. As the Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating and implementing marketing communications programs for customers in the media, entertainment, public sector and talent acquisition industries. You will be tasked with owning our customer newsletter; sourcing, developing and promoting customer case studies; maintaining our presence on peer review sites; and driving ad hoc brand awareness campaigns. You will also focus on supporting the customer experience by outlining the customer journey and developing regular communication touchpoints that increase engagement and retention. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the Customer Marketing Manager will work closely with the marketing team, sales team, customer success team and other key stakeholders to ensure our customer marketing strategy is consistent with our values and objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 
  • Design and execute customer-facing programs to increase engagement and promote additional products and services to existing customers in the media, entertainment, public sector and talent acquisition industries
  • Create, manage and distribute customer-centric content across various channels to ensure a seamless and integrated experience 
  • Monitor, analyze and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to make data-driven decisions that will optimize marketing strategies and tactics
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback by conducting surveys, focus groups and other methods to gather customer feedback
  • Work closely with sales, product development and customer service teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts
  • Own our quarterly customer newsletter by curating and creating engaging content that communicates company updates, product developments, industry insights and customer success stories.
  • Develop and promote customer case studies by conducting customer interviews, gathering data and writing detailed stories that showcase customer achievements.
  • Maintain and enhance Veritone’s presence on peer review sites (e.g., G2, Trustpilot, Capterra), including developing campaigns that encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews and reporting on review site performance
WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • At least three years of customer marketing experience in a B2B environment with a proven track record of creating and managing compelling customer marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and content management systems (Pardot experience preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with peer review sites and online reputation management (G2 experience preferred but not required)
  • Experience working with sales and customer success teams to activate campaigns and programs
  • Understanding of customer experience journeys and touchpoints that leverage paid and unpaid channels (including events and digital events) to achieve business and marketing objectives
  • Experience facilitating customer conversations and building relationships with executives and decision-maker
  • AI, machine learning and technology background are a plus
