As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Fuel Cycle, you will play a key role in outbound prospecting and building sales pipelines. You will be responsible for conducting exploratory conversations with prospects and building rapport within the market research communities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Source new business sales opportunities (beginning with the discovery call booking) through strategic outbound cold calls, social and email
  • Manage inbound Leads from marketing programs within SLA’s (Inbound about 20% of activity)
  • Knowledge of sales tools such as SFDC, Outreach, Seamless, 6Sense, Dripify, LinkedIn Sales Nav (or Similar tools)
  • Research accounts, identify key players, outbound prospect to generate interest
  • Team with Enterprise Sales Directors (ESDs) to build pipeline
  • Maintain database of prospects in assigned territory within CRM
  • Listen to, interview prospective customers, and effectively communicate their needs and requirements
  • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people, and existing technology
  • Develop qualified sales opportunities and set qualified discovery meetings for ESD counterparts that will lead to demos and generation of active pipeline

Your Success Metrics:

  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified discovery meetings, demos, and pipeline generation
  • Monthly KPIs: 5 Discovery Meetings Held, 3 Demo Meetings Held & Generation of New Pipeline Generated (as a result of SDR booked Discovery Meetings)
  • Conduct 50+ outbound calls/day to targeted prospects and cold/warm leads

  • Work closely with other SDRs, Enterprise Sales Directors, Sales Ops, and Marketing to implement appropriate prospect communications and outreach strategies

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative or progressive outbound sales experience, software, research or enterprise sales a plus
  • Passion for technology and a technical aptitude to master sales stack tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • A keenly developed competitive nature
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM a plus
  • A winning and self-starter attitude
  • Preferred, but not required: BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.

This position pays between $60,000-$65,000 base salary + commission & equity. Your final base salary will be determined based on location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.

If you are located within a 25-mile radius of our LA or NY HQs, you will be considered a hybrid associate and will be required to be in the office 3 days/week.
