Job Scope and Accountabilities:

Sales Development Representatives (SDR) are the 'solution-focused' hunters of new business opportunities for our world-leading Risk platform, SAI360.

 

Reporting to the Director of Global Sales Development Manager, the SDR's primary objective is to deliver qualified meetings and opportunities to our Risk/Learning/Risk & Learning-Sales Team by engaging inbound leads from our demand-gen marketing, digital marketing, sales campaigns, and referral efforts as well as outbound self-prospected leads. Ultimately, the SDR splits the sales cycle into specialized areas of responsibility which enables our Commercial Sales Team to maximize productivity and generate revenue.

 

A successful Sales Development Representative will be a self-motivated, dedicated team member with a passion for sales. You will also have strong communication and organizational skills to properly identify and pass off a qualified sales opportunity to our national commercial sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and nurture the Marketing lead funnel for the Industry Team vertical, working to qualify prospects and develop nurture campaigns to drive qualified leads to the Risk – Commercial Sales team. 
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop new prospects and engage hot & warm inbound leads to generate sales-ready appointments and opportunities. 
  • Interact with Marketing prospects via telephone, email and chat. 
  • Source and prospect outbound leads fitting SAI360’s target market 
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing hot & warm Marketing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in SAI360's solutions. 
  • Disseminate qualified leads to appropriate Sales team member, educating Sales as necessary about the qualified opportunity. 
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections. 
  • Update lead scoring and prospect interaction in SalesLoft to ensure efficient lead management. 
  • Consistently achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business. 
  • Provide closed-loop feedback between sales and marketing to ensure continuous process optimization. 

 

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • 1+ years of B2B sales or lead generation experience and/or relevant sales internship experience. 
  • Strong passion for technology sales and hunger to achieve results. 
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, metric driven sales team environment. 
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong verbal communication skills. 
  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft, and/or similar CRM systems. 
  • Degree or certification(s) relating to Sales and/or other relevant areas.

 

 

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required along with the ability to collaborate within a remote-work environment throughout all levels of the organization.

 

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, the base salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 plus opportunities for bonuses or commission. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
