Position Overview

You will play a key role in helping borrowers navigate the loan process. Your responsibilities will include guiding applicants through selecting the right loan program, completing loan applications, and gathering necessary documentation such as pay stubs, tax returns, and bank statements. Additionally, you will analyze credit reports and collaborate with appraisers, title officers, escrow officers, loan processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth mortgage process.

What You'll Do

  • Generate mortgage loan leads through self-initiated efforts, corporate referrals, and other marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct interviews with applicants to understand their goals and recommend suitable products, terms, and pricing.
  • Process loan applications by conducting preliminary reviews and submitting complete applications for approval.
  • Ensure all required documents for processing, underwriting, and closing are collected in a timely manner.
  • Actively engage in daily marketing activities with a goal to secure at least 4 loans per month.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales/production goals.
  • Utilize CRM tools effectively to manage client relationships and track progress.

What We're Looking For

  • Active NMLS License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a loan originator.
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting complex financial data.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within required operating hours.
  • Self-motivated and ethical in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and partners.
