As an Inside Mortgage Sales Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in growing our loan volume by managing inbound leads and existing portfolios. You’ll help clients find the best mortgage solutions while collaborating with your team to achieve sales goals and maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Loan Origination: Handle mortgage applications from inbound leads and current portfolios, and analyze clients’ income and debt.
  • Application Processing: Run loan data through an automated underwriting system and ensure all required documents are gathered in a timely manner.
  • Client Engagement: Make outbound calls and follow up on existing portfolios to retain accounts. Assist with customer inquiries and provide excellent service.
  • Consultative Approach: Interview applicants to understand their goals and recommend the most suitable mortgage products, terms, and pricing.
  • Sales Goals: Meet and exceed department and individual sales goals.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that checklists are followed and content is ready for processing and underwriting. Maintain CRM and adhere to company standards.

Requirements

  • Licensure: NMLS License required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of phone sales experience in the mortgage industry (refinance and purchase).
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and time management skills. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong capability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Professional and effective interpersonal skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Flexibility: Ability to meet the required hours of operation.
