Your missions

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Communications and Business Development Director to lead our firm's marketing and business development strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Owner and Executive Director on exciting firmwide initiatives, gaining exposure to all aspects of legal marketing. This is a remote, part-time role, estimated at 20-25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the development and execution of marketing communications and business development strategies to drive firm growth.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of marketing activities and expenditures to maximize return on investment.
  • Conduct regular analyses of the competitive landscape to ensure our firm remains a leader in the market.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Create and manage social media campaigns, engage with audiences, and uphold the firm's brand identity, while adhering to legal marketing ethics.
  • Ensure our website is accurate, user-friendly, and effectively enhances our online presence.
  • Write, edit, and proofread various content, including press releases, advertisements, articles, and blog posts.
  • Encourage staff involvement in community and marketing activities to boost the firm's visibility.
  • Assist attorneys and presenters with PowerPoints, presentation skills, and feedback for seminars and speaking engagements.
  • Work with different departments to identify and target marketing opportunities.
  • Use creative and technical writing skills to promote our services and events.
  • Help organize special marketing events, including guest lists, presenter recruitment, invitations, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Manage our database using InfusionSoft and Clio Grow.
  • Develop and oversee our social media presence.
  • Conduct outreach events and meetings to build referral connections and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on new marketing trends in the legal field.
  • Assist with various special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in guiding advertising and sales efforts.
  • Familiarity with digital and graphic service contracts is a plus.
  • Advanced technological skills and a willingness to learn new software.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience working remotely.
  • Proficient in digital and print content creation.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience.
