Senior Supply Chain Project Manager (Agile & Waterfall Expertise)

Description

We are seeking a seasoned project manager with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage diverse workstreams, coordinate with senior IT leaders, and drive software development projects to successful outcomes. This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite visits as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Consolidation: Integrate multiple workstreams into a unified program, ensuring smooth coordination.
• Communication & Reporting: Clearly communicate project issues, solutions, and progress to stakeholders and upper management.
• Project Support: Oversee project planning, execution, tracking, communication, and reporting on various workstreams.
• Backlog Management: Facilitate backlog grooming sessions, review and prioritize project stories and deliverables with the Scrum team.
• Resource Management: Handle time, budget, scope, and resource allocation effectively.
• Issue Tracking: Monitor and address issues and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Delivery: Schedule and lead project delivery meetings, manage defect resolution, and conduct Agile Scrum events and sprint demonstrations.
• Forecasting & Accountability: Build forecasts and ensure accurate timesheet management.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 5+ years in project management with a proven track record in both IT and business environments.
• Methodologies: Strong background in Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Project Desktop is essential; experience with Microsoft Project Online (PWA) in a PPM environment is preferred.
• Automation: Familiarity with automation is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required. PMP or Scrum Master certification is highly desirable, or equivalent experience.

• Monday - Friday, typically 8 am - 5 pm, with occasional longer days as needed.
