Experienced Supply Chain Manager - Vendor Management & Inventory Optimization

Description

We are looking for a supply chain professional with a passion for vendor management and inventory optimization to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee vendor relationships and inventory management, ensuring smooth operations. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will work remotely to manage purchasing, materials, and vendor relations, all aimed at driving cost-efficiency and supporting our technicians effectively.

Responsibilities

• Vendor & Inventory Management: Oversee vendor relationships and inventory processes to secure the best pricing and volume rebates. Ensure all branches purchase from preferred vendors while sharing best practices for purchasing and logistics.
• Policy Development: Create and implement policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for purchasing, receiving, warehouse operations, vehicle stock, and maintenance, ensuring consistent application across all branches.
• Technician Support: Foster an environment that prioritizes efficient support for technicians by streamlining logistics, minimizing opportunity costs, and ensuring timely access to materials.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: Hands-on experience in HVAC, with preferred experience in OEM or distributor environments.
• Vendor Management Skills: Proven track record of effectively managing vendor relationships.
