Location: Remote, with relocation to our new headquarters in the next 9-12 months.

Salary: \(211,300 to \)239,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy to support objectives, cut costs, and enhance efficiency and sustainability.
    • Optimize supply chain operations aligned with our revolutionizing vision in aviation.
  • Supplier & Procurement Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality standards.
    • Oversee procurement processes to meet technical and sustainability requirements.
  • Logistics & Distribution:
    • Manage logistics operations for timely delivery of components and products.
    • Streamline logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Develop and implement inventory management policies to minimize waste and ensure key component availability.
    • Utilize data-driven strategies to optimize inventory levels.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Monitor disruptions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance to integrate supply chain strategies.
    • Foster teamwork and communication across departments.
  • Sustainability Advocacy:
    • Champion sustainability initiatives, promoting ethical sourcing and reducing operational environmental impact.
    • Seek innovative solutions to enhance sustainability efforts.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire the supply chain team to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Drive team performance and support professional development.
What We're Looking For

  • Experience:
    • 15+ years in supply chain management, with significant experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
    • At least 5 years in a leadership role demonstrating successful team management and strategic execution.
  • Skills & Qualifications:
    • Strong strategic planning and execution abilities.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and experience building supplier relationships.
    • Deep understanding of supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and risk management.
    • Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing high-performing teams.
    • Commitment to sustainability and experience implementing sustainable practices.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are highly desirable.
