Description

Are you passionate about driving business growth while cultivating strong customer relationships? Join our team as you help shape the future of our Coffee Systems portfolio, Warehouse Direct Cold business, and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business across select customers. In this role, you will balance managing established Department Specialty customers while tapping into your entrepreneurial spirit to secure and nurture new business opportunities.

Your mission will be to expand our presence in Home Improvement, Department and Kitchen Specialty, Value/Off-Price, and Outdoor Recreation channels, where promising opportunities are already emerging with top-tier retailers. You will be a key member of the sales team, shaping strategic customer relationships and driving volume, profit, and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve net sales and profit targets outlined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the Coffee Systems and Department Specialty segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, planners, inventory analysts, and other support teams at established customers.
  • Drive multi-year growth strategies with current customers, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and manage Joint Business Plans (JBP) by collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute account plans effectively.
  • Spearhead new business development initiatives, managing program negotiation, customer onboarding, and ongoing account management.
  • Lead omni-channel marketing initiatives tailored to specific retailers to drive brand growth and increase sales volume.
  • Partner with internal teams to maintain and update sales forecasts, using internal and syndicated data to guide adjustments and ensure goals are exceeded.
  • Manage promotional plans within budget to optimize net sales and profit margins.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, focusing on national chain accounts and headquarter category buyers.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing annual operating plans and managing Joint Business Plans (JBP).
  • Strong ability to use syndicated data and solution-selling techniques to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated track record of new business development across channels and markets.
  • A self-starter with a passion for identifying and creating new revenue streams.

Location

This is a remote role. While we welcome applicants from across the country, candidates based in or near Minneapolis, MN, Burlington, MA, or Frisco, TX are highly preferred.
